(District Governor 2007-2008)
Lion Kuldip Kuthiala, MJF joined the cause of Lionism in April 1979 as a member of the Lions Club Panchkula. He became “Melvin Jones Fellow” in 2001. He was unanimously elected as the Vice District Governor on 30th April 2006 at Mussorie and District Governor on 22nd April 2007 at New Delhi. He is happily married to Lion Shashi Kuthiala who is also very active in this oganization since 1979, Lion Shashi Kuthiala is a Past District President of the Lioness Distt. 321-A2. The couple is blessed with 2 sons Vikas married to Aarti, Rohit married to Priyanka, daughter Shweta and 3 grandchildren Tanya, Anisha & Anusha. Lion Kuldip Kuthiala MJF was born on 16th April, 1946 in the famous Kuthiala family of Timber and Forest Licencee of North India, Lion Kuthiala did not follow his family business. He wanted to make new strides and that is exactly what he did. Today he is one of the leading contractors of the region. Lion Kuldip Kuthiala MJF is a member and
officer bearer of various social and charitable organizations. He is also a member of the Ancient Society of Masonic Lodge an order Formed by King Solomon. Lion Kuldip Kuthiala is immersed in the activities in Lionism since the last 28 years. His dedication and qualities of leadership were recognised by the Lions of the District and these attributes enabled him to rise to this highest office of the District.
He was elected as the DG to lead and represent the District on 22nd April 2007 at New Delhi and held the prestigious post of VMCC for 2008-09. In his distinguished career he has received many awards and held positions of great responsibility in the District and shown his mettle. For his dedication and hard work he has received accolades, appreciation and various awards. He has also been awarded with The International Presidents Appreciation Certificates Seven times by various Past International President and he has also been honoured with Two International President’s medals by Lion Jimmy Ross and Lion Dr. Ashok Mehta during their respective terms of office. Lion Kuldip Kuthiala with his spouse Lion Shashi Kuthiala has attended Five International Lions Conventions, The 81st Lions International Convention at Birmingham, England 1998, The 83rd Lions International Conventional at Honolulu, Hawaii, USA 2000 the 90th Lions International Conventional at Chicago, ILL, USA 2007 in which he was installed as the District Governor of District 321-A2, 91st Convention at Bangkok, Thailand in 2008 & 93rd at Sydney, Australia in 2010.
