He started his Lionstic journey in 2008 as Charter Secretory of Lions Club Prashant Vihar now known as Delhi City. He was President in 2009-10. He was Nominated Zone Chairperson in 2010-11 by Lion Ajay Goyal District Governer, Region Chairperson in 2011-2012, by Lion Ramesh C. Nangia, District Governor & District Cabinet Secretary in 2015-2016 by Lion Pramod C. Sapra, District Governor. In the District Cabinet of several DGs. He has served as Master PRO, Chief Coordinator Eye Donation, Chief Prime Project Officer, District Cabinet Secretary (Protocol) & other posts.

He received International President’s Pin 10 times, International President’s Certificate 12 times, District Governor’s Medal 11 Time & International Leadership Medals 2 Times by International President. With his motivation 67 person have donated eyes
(Cornea) after the death of their relative & more than 110 blinds benefited with vision. He donated his blood 79th time in August 2020. He is a certified Guiding Lion & RLLI Graduate. He is associated with many other social and cultural societies.
He is happily married to Lion Alka Batra who is also very active in Lionism. They are blessed with two Sons Nitish Batra & Srishtik Batra. Lion Dinesh Batra elected unanimously as Second Vice
District Governor in 30th Annual District Conference held at Kufri.
